We had the pleasure of meeting Joann who own Miss,,, a little while ago whilst working on a wedding showcase shoot. immediately Joann’s warm and friendly persona came across, welcoming us into her stunning boutique. The setting has a very luxurious feel to it, yet somehow makes you feel right at home as you wander through the beautiful collections Joann holds on site.

Wandering through the collections it was hard not to want to recreate the scene from “Friends” , try on gowns and pretend we were getting married too!

Joann’s knowledge and expertise when it comes to wedding gowns is vast and Joann’s customer service is second to none. It’s clear that if you chose your wedding gown under Joann’s guiding eye, then you are in very safe hands.

Meet Miss…

Our friendly service is ‘by appointment only’ which ensures each bride receives a dedicated experience to share with their trusted companions. A first appointment lasts for 1 hour 30 minutes which provides plenty of time to browse the selection of gowns whilst enjoying a glass of fizz.

My Collection of beautiful gowns created by some of the top names in British and international Bridal Couture will offer every bride the choice of that unique and stunning gown for their special day.

The choice of gowns coupled with my genuine passion to give every Bride the level of Customer service will ensure your visit is a truly memorable experience and I look forward to welcoming you to Miss… and being part of your Bridal experience.

2. Tell us something that not many people know about Miss…

Your experience doesn’t just stop once you have purchased your dress, it continues. Some shops will recommend you to a local Seamstress for any alteration work. However, at Miss, I have an amazing In house Seamstress who will do all your alteration fittings at the shop.

I am always there throughout each appointment ensuring you are happy and giving you the opportunity to try on veils and accessories etc. Then once the final fitting has been completed, I steam and prepare the dress ready for collection for yours and her big debut.

3. What advice would you give to Brides who are looking for their perfect Gown?

Allow yourself enough time to look for a dress if possible. You may find ‘The One’ on your first visit but you may also have to look around and some Designers can take between 4-6 months to produce the dress and have it delivered. You also have to allow enough time for fittings and its nice to just enjoy being the bride and the experience!

Ensure you know what budget you need to be respectful of before you go into your appointment, theres no point in trying on dresses that are way outside your budget this will only cause disappointment.

And Finally treat your dress like your Fiancé…one you have found the one STOP LOOKING!!!
